Some modifications for this year

These are the few things that we have added for this year's contest:-

1. We've received so many blogs nominated for the best education category. Instead of chose just 10 blogs and left the rest, we decided to put them on their special informative sections that people will be able to choose and decide which blog is the best informative in that category...(For the next year we will be very strictly on the type of blogs that will be accepted under this category)

2. We initial removed the best wedding category due to lack of the nominees but we've stumbled very nice Tanzanian blogs and we hope that people will agreed with me sure these blogs really deserve to be nominated but maybe not so many people knew about them..(note that these are the only blogs we organizers of this contest hand picked and added to the one that was already nominated). So please, do not email us and ask us why we didn't choose this blog or that blog. All blogs nominated here have been sent to us by readers just like you.

3. We have added one category that is for the Best Out Of Towner Blogs - These are the blogs that cover stories and news of Tanzania but mostly out of Dar Es Salaam City. These blogs were nominated under different categories but we thought they deserve a special category for that too.

4. The Tanzanian Blog Awards each year will present a special TBA Lifetime Achievement Awards to recognize one person who have made creative contributions of outstanding significance to the field of blogging, writing or educating. The recipient will be selected from the nomination and special vetting will be done.

This awards will have a different name each year because this is the only recognition we will let individuals who want to honor a person that have made positive impacts into their lives such as parents, 1st grade teachers, ministers, principles, head masters etc etc to do so.This is a cheapest way for those who would like to start a foundation to do so.
